WENZEL 2-axes milling head

The WENEZL Präzision GmbH presents the latest development of a 2-axes milling head for design components, normally produced from heavy duty clay-mills, now directly inside the studio environment. Milling programmes can be generated based on captured data from the measuring machine or external CAD / CAM data. Machining processes can be done directly on the measuring machine for optimising parts especially with free form surfaces.

All software functions are provided by the design package “DesCAD3D”. DesCAD3D is a powerful tool for modellers and designers. All tasks in daily design jobs are covered. Essential elements of DesCAD3D are digitizing of geometric elements and surfaces on work pieces and models with touch triggers, optical and multipoint scanning sensors as well as the seamless import and export of this data into modern computer-aided systems like CAD, CAM or CAQ. The system enables users to generate milling programs even for non-WENZEL controllers, milling on the measuring machine and basic generation of surfaces. The modular software architecture offers a simple and clear user interface for all software functions. There's no need for any other additional software package!
