WENZEL Präzision has expanded its product assortment by the new mobile measuring equipment Smart 500 mobile. The Smart 500 mobile is based on the successful coordinate measuring machine Smart CMM, where the difference to the conventional Smart machine is in its mobility.

As a 3D shop measurement machine, the Smart mobile was specifically designed to measure small to average-size work pieces and which can also quickly and easily change its location with the help of a lift truck. The Smart 500 mobile offers a wide spectrum of application due to its intelligent and compact design.
A special cantilever arm design offers a measuring volume that can be easily accessed from three sides and is ergonomic and efficient. The high temperature tolerance and all protected guides facilitate precise measurements even under rough environmental conditions. It can be operated even in the smallest shop with its conventional 220 Volt power connection (no air cushioning is required!).

The improved software solution of the Smart 500 mobile has a logical and clear user platform and guides the user through the dialog input with self-explanatory graphics. The intuitive offline programming “Click´n Measure“ even detects very small elements with high precision. Much time is gained by simply clicking and automatically measuring elements in the CAD model. The user-oriented software easily guides the operator through all programs and guarantees error-free measurements.
