WENZEL Group takes over the computer tomography company Volumetrik GmbH
On 4th of July, 2008 the WENZEL Group announced the company take-over of the computer tomography company Volumetrik GmbH. By this strategic acquisition of Volumetrik WENZEL expands its product portfolio with one of the strongest-growing fields in metrology. Using computer tomography machines its possible to make contactless 3D-measurements of inner and outer structures.
“By integrating our many years of experience and competence in the field of computer tomography into the WENZEL Group we have the best requirements to compete on the market for ‘contactless volume measurement’ with our innovative technology”, said Dr. Martin Simon, Managing Director of Volumetrik.
