Sales Launch of the User-Friendly Measuring Software
Over 10.000 licences of the software Metrosoft CM have been sold and the WENZEL Metromec AG starts seamlessly with the next generation of measuring software: Since the 1st of May 2009 Metrosoft QUARTIS is released for sale. The company worked with Swiss precision on the development of the new high-performance measuring software Metrosoft QUARTIS with Microsoft® Office Fluent™ user interface.
The highly innovative operation concept is clearly arranged, flexible and goal-oriented and enables all users easy and fast access to WENZEL Metromec's decade-long wealth of experience. The focus of the new development was the simplification of operation. Significant measurement results can now be generated even faster and easier. Metrosoft QUARTIS accelerates the personal workflow tremendously and guarantees more efficiency in daily business.
Practise-Oriented and Powerful
The user interface of Metrosoft QUARTIS is logical and clear. The operator is guided through the dialog by the use of self-explanatory graphics. The software offers a wide range of functions and graphic support for the easy and fast creation of measurement programs.
The decades long experience of WENZEL Metromec in the 3D coordinate measuring technology shows its advantage especially in the inner values of Metrosoft QUARTIS. Metrosoft QUARTIS offers powerful automation of the preparation of probe systems. The calibration of rotate and swivel heads as well as probe systems are very easy. With the Click&Measure™ functionality, developed by WENZEL Metromec, measurement process can be defined by a mouse click and is executed directly on the machine. Further all proven construction and alignment functions are available. During the programming of a measurement, the user is supported by a realistic visualization and simulation. Especially the flexible and simple creation of significant measurement reports is one of the highlights of Metrosoft QUARTIS. - Significant measurement results - fast and easy!
Universal Applications - also for CT
Software development is a dynamic process and has to match flexibly with the increasing requirements of the markets and new technologies. WENZEL Metromec has the finger on the pulse of their customers. New developments are mostly made in cooperation with technology leaders in the automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering industries.
The latest achievement is the support of another innovation of the WENZEL Group: the computer tomograph of the subsidiary WENZEL Volumetrik. The data which is acquired through the computer tomograph can be metrologically evaluated by the measuring software Metrosoft QUARTIS. The holistic availability of the part surfaces enables the analysis of all contours, areas and characteristics. This includes especially the inner structures which can be captured in a non-destructive and contact-free way
Metrosoft QUARTIS which is dedicated to replace the successful Metrosoft CM in the long term is ready for the market.
