WENZEL Innovation Days 2005

The WENZEL Innovation Days were held on June 15 and 16, 2005.
Wenzel introduced the current state of the art to the approximately 50 invited guests which also included renowned automobile manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Opel and Volkswagen.
WENZEL has invested a considerably amount in the development of new and powerful solutions during the past year.

The new multipurpose precision measuring machine “Mythos” and the further developed optical sensor “Phoenix” were introduced as special highlights. Mythos is an equipment series specifically designed to be used for probe measurement systems, which represents an ultimate solution for applications in engine and aggregate manufacturing or in aerospace engineering with its technical highlights, such as the spindle drive and raised guide elements.

The optical Phoenix sensor operates according to an innovative principle that is optimally tailored to the task of “contactless measuring of points and elements” and is already in use by the automobile manufacturer BMW, DaimlerChrysler and Opel. The response to the event was very positive.
