Horizontal aerodynamic bearing
The bridge machine has optimized bearing guide elements that guarantee a non-wearing and frictionless operation. Base plate traverse and spindle sleeves are of dark natural hard granite and all axes have the same thermal reaction. The guide system of the Y-axis is directly machined into the base plate; raised on one side on the LH 1515.
The weight of the Z Ram is compensated by a pneumatic cylinder that supports the Ram in any position. The granite base plate is lapped flat according to DIN 876/0. The guides of the X and Y axis are equipped with bellows covers.
The machines are equipped with a CNC control unit.
